In St Fin Barre’s National School we endeavour to create, within the school, a caring and secure environment in which each child feels happy, confident and valued as an individual; to continue in co-operation with parents the long process of educating the whole child in a Christian atmosphere in partnership with parents, the Board of Management and the wider community.
The School serves the Church of Ireland parish areas of Saint Fin Barre's Cathedral and Carrigrohane Union of parishes. We have children from various religions, religious denominations and none.
Inclusion and acceptance of children from all backgrounds are integral to the ethos of the school.
We have an excellent culture of mutual respect, good manners and peer support.
