Saint Fin Barre's National School is a Church of Ireland School under the patronage of the Bishop of Cork, Cloyne and Ross.

The following procedure will be followed when allocating places in St. Fin Barre’s National School. 

 

Application Procedure 

Those intending to apply for enrolment at St. Fin Barre’s National School should contact the school and notify the school on a Notification of Intention to Apply Form as soon as possible.

Those who have returned a Notification of Intention to Apply Form will be sent an Application Form in November of the year prior to enrolment in the school. 

All applications for places in the school shall be submitted on the approved application form to the school Principal. An Ethos statement and Code of Behaviour will be furnished to each applicant with a copy of the enrolment form at an appropriate time in advance of the designated day for consideration of applications for the following school year. 

The closing date is 3rd December, 2020.

Only such forms that have been completed in full will be considered by the Board of Management. 

Completion of such a form does not guarantee a place at the school.

Early completion of the form is not a factor in the allocation of places at the school. 
All applicants for Junior Infants must have attained their 4th birthday by 1st September in the year of admission.
